Our plumbers' licences

The contractor licence covers the business. The person who turns up at your door is licensed too: every job is done by a plumber who holds their own NSW licence, or by an apprentice working under a licensed plumber's supervision.

You are always welcome to ask your plumber to show you their licence card when they arrive. Each plumber's profile on our Meet the Team page shows their licence details where we have them on file.

How to check any plumber

Whoever you book, these checks take two minutes and are worth doing.

  1. Ask for the licence number before anyone comes out. A licensed plumber will give it to you straight away.
  2. Look it up on the NSW Government licence check. Make sure the name matches the business you booked, the licence is current, and its classes cover the work. Gas work needs a gasfitting licence.
  3. Ask to see the licence card when the plumber arrives.
  4. Get the price in writing before any work starts.

If a plumber cannot tell you their licence number, do not let them in. Ours is 285594C.
